Why it matters

Prediabetes is common. It's also reversible.

Most people with prediabetes don’t know they have it. The good news: catching it early — and making small, steady changes — can make a real difference.

115M

US adults have prediabetes.

8 in 10

don’t know they have it.

~50%

lower risk of progressing with lifestyle change.

1.1B

adults worldwide at high risk of Type 2 diabetes.

The prevention gap

Today's glucose tools were built for people already diagnosed.

Finger-prick meters and needle-and-patch sensors are reliable — but they’re designed for managing diabetes, not preventing it. They can be painful, need replacing every 10–15 days, and often require a prescription. That leaves millions of people at the most important moment — prediabetes — with little more than general advice.

Meet The Caddy

Small enough to forget. Smart enough to matter.

The Caddy uses WITO’s bioimpedance technology and cloud machine learning to turn a simple touch into a glucose score — no blood, no needles, no fuss.

Designed as a Class II medical device
Planned over-the-counter*

No needles. No patches.

Small sensors simply touch your skin — nothing pierces it, and there's no sensor to peel off and replace every two weeks.

Clips to your watch band

A flat, one-inch-square module that fits any standard ¾-inch spring-pin band. Keep WITO's band or wear your favourite.

Readings on demand

Touch two fingers to the top of the Caddy and your glucose score appears in the app — whenever you want to check.

Not yet. The Caddy is in development and is not available for sale. Join the waitlist and we’ll let you know about launch timing and early-access opportunities.

Launch depends on regulatory authorization. WITO is targeting clearances across multiple markets in late 2027 to early 2028, with the first markets expected to include the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. Timelines may change.

No. WITO plans to seek FDA clearance as a Class II over-the-counter medical device through the 510(k) pathway, along with approvals in other markets. Until then, no medical claims should be relied on.

The Caddy is designed to be available over the counter, without a prescription, where regulators authorize it. We still encourage you to involve your healthcare professional.

Small sensors on the Caddy touch your skin and take a bioimpedance measurement. WITO’s cloud machine-learning models are designed to translate that signal into a glucose score shown in the app.

No — nothing pierces the skin. You simply touch two fingers to the top of the device while it’s on your wrist.

The Caddy is designed to fit standard ¾-inch spring-pin watch bands. It will ship on a WITO band, and you can swap in a band of your choice.

The WITO platform is being designed with encryption in transit and at rest, and with HIPAA, GDPR and CCPA privacy requirements in mind. You’ll control who you share your data with.

The Caddy is focused on adults with prediabetes or at risk of Type 2 diabetes, health-conscious people, and families and caregivers. Use in children is planned subject to regulatory authorization.
